Mashup Watch privacy policy
Last updated: 13 October 2026
Mashup Watch is a news app from gamerbrowser.com. It shows stories about game mashup mods, decompilations, fan PC ports and jailbreak news, with links to the creators' own pages.
What we collect
We don't ask for your name, email, location, contacts or photos. To understand how the site is used, gamerbrowser.com uses Google Analytics, which records things like the pages you view, how you arrived (for example from a search or a social post), your general location (country or city, never your exact address), your device and browser type, and how long you stay. Google Analytics uses cookies to do this. We use it only to see what readers like and to improve the site. We don't sell it or use it to build advertising profiles. You can opt out with Google's Analytics opt-out add-on or by blocking cookies in your browser. Read how Google uses this data.
What stays on your device
The app remembers which filter you last chose, and keeps a copy of the news feed so it can open offline. This is stored only on your device, and you can clear it by uninstalling the app or clearing site data in your browser.
Requests to our servers
To load news, the app downloads a file from gamerbrowser.com. Like any website, our hosting provider may keep standard server logs (such as IP address, time and requested file) for security and to keep the service running. We don't sell this data or use it for advertising profiles.
Links to other sites
Stories link to other websites, such as GitHub, YouTube, X and news sites. Those sites have their own privacy policies, and we don't control what they collect.
Children
The app is not directed at children under 13.
Changes
If this policy changes, we'll update the date above.
