Castlevania's Belmont joins Risk of Rain 2 as a playable survivor with whip, holy water and relics
rob's Belmont mod adds a new Risk of Rain 2 survivor based on the Belmont vampire hunters from Konami's Castlevania games, with a full kit: a close-range slash that becomes a whip crack at distance, a slide kick, a dash that swings off enemies with the whip, and thrown holy water. Each stage spawns a Shrine of the Night that sets off a night-creature invasion; beat it for Key Fragments, combine three into a Skeleton Key and open Treasure Chests holding sacred relics that power up his kit. It has unlockable skins by VCR, item displays, emotes and full multiplayer support. First released Nov 30, 2025 and still updated (v1.0.10 on Oct 9, 2026), with about 246,000 downloads on Thunderstore. It joins our other Risk of Rain 2 crossover survivors: Goku, Sonic, Samus and Ganondorf.
You need: Your own copy of Risk of Rain 2 on PC, plus BepInEx, R2API and BelmontModCompats (a mod manager such as r2modman installs them for you).
How to play
- Install a Thunderstore mod manager (r2modman) and pick Risk of Rain 2.
- Search Belmont by rob and install it with its dependencies.
- Launch modded and pick Belmont on the survivor select screen (unlocked by default).
