Mashup: Bing Bing Wahoo brings Super Mario 64's moves to Minecraft
Bing Bing Wahoo, made for ModFest 1.17, brings the physics of Super Mario 64 to Minecraft: Java Edition. Craft a Mysterious Cap from five wool, put it on, and you get Mario's double and triple jump (the third one flips), forward and backward long jumps, a dive off the attack button while sprinting, belly slides down stairs and slopes, and wall bonks. It's a Fabric/Quilt mod with builds up to Minecraft 1.20.1, open source under MIT, and has passed 11,700 downloads on Modrinth. Same idea, other direction: libsm64 mods that drop Mario himself into Garry's Mod and GZDoom.
You need: Your own copy of Minecraft: Java Edition (PC) with the Fabric or Quilt loader on a supported version (up to 1.20.1). No Mario 64 files needed or included.
How to play
- Install Fabric (or Quilt) for a supported Minecraft version.
- Download Bing Bing Wahoo from the creator's Modrinth page into your mods folder.
- Craft the Mysterious Cap from 5 wool in the helmet shape and wear it.
