MASHUP: BODYCAMCRAFT TURNS MINECRAFT SURVIVAL INTO BODYCAM FOOTAGE WITH ITS REAL GUNS
Mashup: BodycamCraft plays Minecraft survival as Bodycam footage, with Bodycam's real guns and animations

issac_leral's BodycamCraft is a Fabric mod that drops you into a normal Minecraft survival world as if filmed on Bodycam's chest camera. The Glock 17 and M4A1 models, textures, gunshots, reload sounds, gloved arms and animations (draw, aim, recoil and every reload variant) are read live from your own Steam install of Bodycam while you play; the mod ships none of Bodycam's files. The view gets a fisheye lens, grain, sway and a recording stamp with no crosshair, and the gun moves freely inside a small box before the camera turns, so shots go where the gun points. Mobs, building and crafting stay vanilla, and you craft magazines from iron, copper and gunpowder. It is single player with two guns; v0.3.0 landed Oct 26 after the first builds on Oct 7. The creator says the code was written by Claude Code under their direction, with no AI-generated art or sound.
You need: Windows, your own copy of Minecraft: Java Edition and Bodycam installed on Steam (the mod reads its guns and animations from it). Minecraft 1.21.11 with Fabric Loader and Fabric API, or the Melty launcher. No game files are included.
How to play
- Download bodycamcraft-0.3.0.jar from Releases.
- Put it and Fabric API in the mods folder of a Minecraft 1.21.11 + Fabric Loader install (Bodycam must be installed on Steam).
- Start Minecraft; right click aims, R reloads, V toggles the bodycam view.
