KNUCKLES' CHAOTIX RECOMPILED: SEGA 32X CLASSIC GOES NATIVE ON PC WITH TRUE WIDESCREEN
Knuckles' Chaotix (Sega 32X) gets a native PC port through static recompilation

Knuckles' Chaotix Recompiled translates the Sega 32X game's 68000 and both SH-2 CPUs' code ahead of time into native C++, with a small hardware layer and an SDL3 front end, so it runs as an ordinary program with no emulator. Levels are playable with sound, and true widescreen draws real tiles and sprites into the extra space instead of stretching. Windows is built and played, Android runs, and Linux, macOS and iOS builds are configured. No 32X BIOS is needed. v0.4.8 landed Oct 21 after three releases in one day, so it's moving fast and still in progress.
You need: Your own Knuckles' Chaotix (Japan, USA) ROM, dumped from your own cartridge. No game data or BIOS is included.
How to play
- Download the latest build from the Releases page, or build it from source.
- Supply your own Knuckles' Chaotix ROM as the README explains.
- Launch and pick widescreen in the options.
