Crash Bandicoot joins Super Smash Bros. Brawl with his own moveset
Cyber Toadette's Crash Bandicoot mod puts PlayStation's mascot into Nintendo's Super Smash Bros. Brawl as a fighter with his own moveset and alternate costumes, not just a new skin. He goes in over the Ice Climbers' slot. The mod builds on an earlier Crash skin by CBCrystalsWrath and bernie, with credits to CaliKingz01, JAD, masterofcapcom, Ac1dSn0w and Gr8pe. It was released on GameBanana in December 2021 and is still up there. Crash never made it into an official Smash game, so this is the only way to see him fight Mario and Pikachu.
You need: Your own copy of Super Smash Bros. Brawl, played on a Wii or in Dolphin with a Brawl file-replacement mod loader set up. The mod includes no copy of Brawl itself.
How to play
- Download the mod from Cyber Toadette's GameBanana page.
- Copy its files into your Brawl mod loader's folder over the Ice Climbers, following the notes on the page.
- Start Brawl through your mod loader and pick the Ice Climbers slot to play as Crash.
