Devil May Cry's Dante joins Risk of Rain 2 as a full survivor with his own combos
rob's Dante mod adds Devil May Cry's demon hunter to Risk of Rain 2 as a playable survivor with his own moveset. The Rebellion sword has two three-hit combos, plus Stinger, High Time and the aerial Helm Breaker, and the mod includes several devil arms with their own movesets, work-in-progress alt skills, a set of skins and Sin Devil Trigger. It is fully networked for co-op. rob credits .score and vcr as near co-devs, with skill icons by anartoast, Sin Devil Trigger music by Violet Chaolan and lore by PlNK. First released in November 2025 and still labelled a beta, it got version 1.0.1 on 13 Oct 2026 and has about 375,000 downloads on Thunderstore. rob also made the HUNK and Belmont survivors already on our list.
You need: Your own copy of Risk of Rain 2 on PC (Steam). Needs BepInExPack and R2API, which a mod manager installs for you.
How to play
- Install a Thunderstore mod manager (r2modman or the Thunderstore app) and pick Risk of Rain 2.
- Search for Dante by rob and install it; its dependencies come with it.
- Start the game modded and pick Dante on the survivor screen.
