BALLOONS UP: DIDDY KONG RACING DECOMP PORT GOLDEN BALLOON DROPS v1.8.0
Golden Balloon v1.8.0: Diddy Kong Racing native and browser source port

Golden Balloon is a native and browser source port of Diddy Kong Racing (N64, 1997), built on the community Diddy Kong Racing decompilation by DavidSM64. It isn't an emulator: the game is compiled for your machine and runs from a ROM you already own. The browser build needs WebGPU and reads your ROM locally without uploading it. There's also a ROM checker that tells you whether your release is supported. The project has been around since July, and v1.8.0 landed on 13 October.
You need: Your own legally acquired Diddy Kong Racing ROM, US 1.1 or European 1.1 (.z64/.v64/.n64). No game assets are included. The macOS and Windows apps are unsigned, so you'll have to allow them past the OS warning.
How to play Diddy Kong Racing on PC
- Download the release for your platform, or open the browser build in current Chrome or Edge.
- Load your own US or EU 1.1 ROM. The ROM checker confirms your version.
- Use a gamepad (rumble supported) and press F1 for settings.
