Zelda's Ganondorf joins Risk of Rain 2 as a playable survivor with Warlock Punch and sword moves
Ethanol10's Ganondorf mod puts the King of Evil from The Legend of Zelda into Risk of Rain 2 as a full playable survivor, not a skin. You build up power by hitting and killing enemies and unleash it with Warlock Punch; the 3.0 update added three sword moves, Cleave, Serrated Whirlwind and Obliterator. It is network compatible for co-op and works with Standalone Ancient Scepter, EmoteAPI and RiskOfOptions. First released in December 2021, it is still maintained: v3.2.4 (Oct 15, 2026) fixed character-select and item-display bugs. With about 704,000 downloads it is one of the most-downloaded crossover survivors on Thunderstore, alongside the Goku and Sonic mods already on our wire.
You need: Your own copy of Risk of Rain 2 on PC, plus BepInEx and the mod's listed dependencies (a mod manager such as r2modman installs them for you).
How to play
- Install a Thunderstore mod manager (r2modman) and pick Risk of Rain 2.
- Search Ganondorf Mod by Ethanol10 and install it with its dependencies (Scrollable UI is recommended for skins).
- Launch modded and pick Ganondorf on the survivor select screen.
