MASHUP: DRAGON BALL'S GOKU GOES SUPER SAIYAN AS A PLAYABLE SURVIVOR IN RISK OF RAIN 2
Dragon Ball's Goku joins Risk of Rain 2 as a playable survivor
kinggrinyov's Goku mod drops Son Goku from Dragon Ball into Risk of Rain 2 as a full playable survivor, not a skin, with his own kit, Super Saiyan transformations (added in a dedicated Transformations update) and multiplayer support (Networking update). It first came out in May 2020 and is still maintained: v2.13.3 landed on Oct 18, 2026. With about 1.54 million downloads it is one of the most-downloaded character mods on Thunderstore. Like our earlier Sonic in Risk of Rain 2 pick, it shows how far crossover survivor mods have come in this game.
You need: Your own copy of Risk of Rain 2 on PC, plus BepInEx, R2API and KingModUtilities (a mod manager such as r2modman installs them for you).
How to play
- Install a Thunderstore mod manager (r2modman) and pick Risk of Rain 2.
- Search Goku by kinggrinyov and install it with its dependencies.
- Launch modded and pick Goku on the survivor select screen.
