God of War: Chains of Olympus and Ghost of Sparta (PSP) recompiled natively for Windows
DrummingBird1's gow-psp-recomp turns your own PSP discs of God of War: Chains of Olympus and Ghost of Sparta into native Windows games, with every function recompiled to C and no emulator at run time. It adds up to 4K and beyond, MSAA, HDR10, 60/120/144 FPS and higher, 21:9, gamepads and texture packs, and a one-download launcher builds each game from your disc. In preview v1.2.0, every level of both games loads and saving, sound and movies work, but neither game has had a full playthrough yet, so late levels may be buggy. Only the US releases are supported. It joins the God of War III PC port already on the wire.
You need: Your own legally dumped US disc images (.chd or .iso, UCUS98653 / UCUS98737). No game content is included. Windows only for now.
How to play God of War: Chains of Olympus on PC
- Download the launcher zip from the Releases page.
- Point it at your own disc images; it builds each game.
- Pick a graphics preset and press Play.
