MASHUP: HALFCRAFT PUTS REAL MINECRAFT INSIDE HALF-LIFE 2
HalfCraft mashup: real Minecraft runs inside Half-Life 2, v0.5.0 out

whiskydumb's HalfCraft joins two games together. A real copy of Minecraft (Java, with a Fabric mod) runs hidden and handles the player's physics, inventory, blocks and combat. Half-Life 2 draws the world and runs its NPCs and scripts around it. The two talk over shared memory. You can build on Half-Life 2's maps, fight Combine with a diamond sword and light City 17 with torches. It covers Half-Life 2, Episode One, Episode Two and Lost Coast as one campaign, and the HalfCraft.exe launcher finds your Steam games and starts both. v0.5.0 came out Oct 15.
You need: Your own copies of Half-Life 2 (Steam) and Minecraft: Java Edition. The mod includes no Valve or Mojang game files.
How to play
- Download v0.5.0 from the Releases page and extract it.
- Run HalfCraft.exe: it finds your Steam games and starts Minecraft, then the mod.
