FROM ZERO TO HERO: DISNEY'S HERCULES PS1 RECOMPILED NATIVE IN 1080P WIDESCREEN
Hercules Recompiled: Disney's 1997 PS1 game goes native on Windows and Linux

Hercules Recompiled is a native Windows and Linux port of Disney's Hercules (PlayStation, 1997), together with the decompilation work behind it. The game logic runs unchanged as statically recompiled code, and only the platform layer is replaced. It adds 1080p, true 16:9, HD sprites, level textures and HUD, a CRT filter, save states, and a launcher styled after the game's title menus that boots straight into any level. It supports all five PAL releases. The repo went up on 13 October, and v0.5.4 followed on 15 October.
You need: Your own disc image (.cue) of one of the PAL releases of Disney's Hercules (SCES-00893 family). The repo has no game data. The prebuilt download holds translated program code only, and graphics, sound and levels come from your disc.
How to play Disney's Hercules on PC
- Download the Windows or Linux zip from the latest release.
- Unzip it into its own folder and start Hercules_Recompiled.
- On first launch, pick the .cue of your own PAL disc dump.
