Minecraft's Herobrine haunts Lethal Company as a brand-new monster
Kittenji's Herobrine mod brings Minecraft's most famous creepypasta into Lethal Company as its own entity, not a reskin: it does not replace any monster in the game. Herobrine silently stares at you from the shadows, and paying attention to him has consequences. Kittenji programmed and modelled it, and it adds Minecraft touches like a Redstone Torch scrap item and a higher spawn rate on Minecraft-themed moons. First released in January 2024, it is still maintained (v1.3.12 landed on 4 October 2026) and has passed 2.6 million downloads on Thunderstore. By default Herobrine spawns alongside the Ghost Girl; a config option swaps her out.
You need: Your own copy of Lethal Company on PC, plus BepInEx (a mod manager such as r2modman or Gale installs it for you).
How to play
- Install a Thunderstore mod manager (r2modman or Gale) and pick Lethal Company.
- Search Herobrine by Kittenji and install it with its dependencies.
- Launch modded and keep an eye on the shadows.
