ICO WALKS FREE: TEAM ICO'S PS2 CLASSIC GOES NATIVE ON PC, DECK, ANDROID AND IPHONE
ICO (PS2) goes native on PC, Steam Deck, Android and iPhone, v0.7.6 out

nathanialf's ico-pc runs ICO (2001) as a normal program, built from their own ICO decompilation. It runs the game's own code, so it plays and sounds like the PAL PS2 release. Optional extras include a sharper picture, widescreen and smoother motion, all off by default. Builds cover Windows (Vulkan or Direct3D 12), Linux, Steam Deck, ARM Linux handhelds, Android 10+, iPhone via LiveContainer and Apple-silicon Macs. The repo opened Oct 3 and has kept up a fast release pace, with v0.7.4, v0.7.5 and v0.7.6 arriving between Oct 14 and early Oct 15. It's a sibling to the two Shadow of the Colossus native ports already on the wire.
You need: Your own disc image of ICO, PAL version only (SCES-50760), as .iso, .chd or .bin/.cue. No game data is included. About 1 GB of free space.
How to play
- Download the build for your device from the Releases page.
- Point it at your own PAL ICO disc image; the first start extracts the files.
- Turn on widescreen and the picture extras in the options if you want them.
