NEW TOOL TURNS NINTENDO SWITCH GAMES INTO NATIVE WINDOWS PROGRAMS
Kirikae: a Rust static recompiler that turns Switch games into native Windows programs

Cor3Duo's Kirikae reads a decrypted Switch executable from your own console and translates its ARM64 code into a native Windows x64 program, using the Cranelift code generator. Its runtime covers the Switch's kernel, services, GPU (Vulkan 1.3), audio and video. Code it can't find ahead of time falls back to an interpreter instead of crashing, and the next build compiles it. The developer says it already plays complete commercial games but has only been tested on a handful. It's an early preview. It joins other Switch recompilation tools covered here, like WindowSmash for Smash Ultimate.
You need: Games dumped from your own Switch, already decrypted. Kirikae ships, downloads and decrypts no game files, and the program it builds must not be shared. Windows x64 and a Vulkan 1.3 GPU.
How to play
- Dump a game from your own Switch.
- Download Kirikae from the releases page.
- Follow the README's 'Preparing a game' steps to build and run it.
