MASHUP: BREATH OF THE WILD'S LINK GLIDES INTO RISK OF RAIN 2
Link from Breath of the Wild joins Risk of Rain 2 as a playable survivor with the Master Sword, bows and paraglider
TheWarlock117's Link mod brings the hero of The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild into Risk of Rain 2 as a full playable survivor with his own moveset, not a skin. He swings the Master Sword (with a sword beam at high health), blocks with the Hylian Shield, fires fire, ice and bomb arrows from three BOTW bows, throws Remote Bombs and holds jump to paraglide. It has unlockable alternate skills and skins and works in multiplayer. First released in May 2023 and last updated in October 2024 (v1.2.4), it has about 279,000 downloads on Thunderstore, next to the Ganondorf, Goku and Sonic survivors already on our wire.
You need: Your own copy of Risk of Rain 2 on PC, plus BepInEx and the mod's listed dependencies (a mod manager such as r2modman installs them for you).
How to play
- Install a Thunderstore mod manager (r2modman) and pick Risk of Rain 2.
- Search Link by TheWarlock117 and install it with its dependencies.
- Launch modded and pick Link on the survivor select screen.
