MCDoom: AzureDoom's mashup mod that brings DOOM's demons and weapons into Minecraft: Java Edition

MCDoom, by AzureDoom, drops the DOOM series into Minecraft: Java Edition. It adds more than 50 kinds of demons, from Imps to Archviles, each with its own abilities, plus around a dozen DOOM weapons to fight them with, so a normal survival world turns into a demon hunt. It has been on Modrinth since August 2022 and passed 140,000 downloads there. The latest release, 8.0.0 (16 September 2024), targets Minecraft 1.21.1 on Fabric and NeoForge, with 7.0.x builds for 1.20.1 on Forge and NeoForge. It needs a few library mods, including the author's own AzureLib, which are listed on its page. It is a free fan mod: download it only from the official Modrinth page.

You need: Your own copy of Minecraft: Java Edition (1.21.1 or 1.20.1) with the Fabric, NeoForge or Forge loader, plus the required library mods listed on MCDoom's Modrinth page.

How to play

1. Install Fabric or NeoForge for Minecraft 1.21.1 (or Forge/NeoForge for 1.20.1).
2. Download MCDoom and its required libraries (AzureLib and the others listed) from Modrinth into your mods folder.
3. Start a world and gear up before the demons spawn.
