MOTHER 3 Recomp rebuilds the 2006 Game Boy Advance RPG, the Japan-only sequel to EarthBound, as a native app for Windows, Linux/Steam Deck and Android, using the gbarecomp and recomp-ui tools. v1.0.7 (Oct 18) is its biggest update yet. It adds a launcher where the party walks through the crossroads outside Tazmily, drawn from your own ROM, plus true widescreen, 120 fps smooth motion, controller-aware button prompts, mod support and a rebuilt Android version. It supports fan translation patches. It comes from josiahg2502-glitch, the creator behind the Super Paper Mario and Scooby-Doo recomps on our wire.
