MONSTER HUNTER TRI (WII) GETS AN UNOFFICIAL NATIVE PC PORT UP TO 4K AND 120 FPS
OceanTriRecomp: Monster Hunter Tri (Wii) statically recompiled into a native Windows program

OceanTriRecomp by Kris'ZtS is an unofficial native Windows x64 port of Monster Hunter Tri (Wii). The game's PowerPC code (main.dol and its relocatable modules) is statically translated to C++ ahead of time, and the Wii's GX graphics run on Aurora with ANGLE, with a choice of Vulkan or OpenGL ES. The creator lists internal resolutions from 540p to 4K, 16:9 widescreen, frame caps of 30 to 120 fps, borderless fullscreen and an in-game settings menu. Releases have moved fast: v1.8.0 on 23 October, v1.9.0 and v1.9.5 on 24 October. The release notes credit Claude (AI) with writing about 65% of the code base, with a Telegram team doing the testing. The creator warns that any download outside the GitHub page is not official. The README is in Spanish.
You need: Your own legally obtained Monster Hunter Tri disc image (the European PAL RMHP08 version is recommended) as .iso or .rvz. Windows 10 or 11 x64. No game files are included. Only download from the creator's GitHub.
