ZELDA: ORACLE OF AGES AND SEASONS GO NATIVE ON PC, MAC AND ANDROID WITH WIDESCREEN
Zelda: Oracle of Ages and Oracle of Seasons v1.0, native on Windows, Mac, Linux and Android
Capcom's two Game Boy Color Zelda games, Oracle of Ages and Oracle of Seasons (2001), now run as native programs on Windows, macOS, Linux and Android, rebuilt from the games' own code in C with no emulator underneath. Version 1.0.0 and a 1.0.1 fix landed on 23 October. Extras include 16:9 widescreen that shows the rooms around you, four save-state slots, save sync between desktop and phone, remappable controls, fast-forward, screen filters and small Lua mods. Every gameplay tweak is off by default, so out of the box it plays as it shipped. The author says generative AI helped build it. No game data is included: the app reads your own ROM once and keeps what it needs.
You need: Your own Oracle of Ages and/or Oracle of Seasons ROM (USA or Europe). No game data is included.
How to play The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Ages on PC
- Download the build for your system from the Releases page.
- Launch it and point it at your own Oracle of Ages or Seasons ROM once.
- Turn on widescreen, save sync or fast-forward in Settings if you want them.
