Brandon04Gonzalez's p5r-android is an Android app that runs the Nintendo Switch version of Persona 5 Royal (1.0.0) natively on arm64 phones and tablets. Because the Switch and Android phones share the same CPU architecture (AArch64), the game's own code runs directly on the phone's processor, while the Switch's system services, audio, video, input and its NVN graphics API are reimplemented on Android, with Vulkan for the graphics. You pick your own .nsp or .xci and keys inside the app, it translates the game's roughly 30,000 shaders once (about two minutes on a mid-range tablet, per the creator), and then plays straight from your file. v0.4.0 landed on 26 October, a few hours after v0.3.0 switched to a native loader so the APK holds no game code. It's a very new project, so expect rough edges.
