PerkeleRim: My Summer Car and Skyrim joined into one game
PerkeleRim runs My Summer Car and Skyrim (Special or Anniversary Edition) at the same time. Skyrim owns the world and draws everything, while My Summer Car runs hidden and simulates the player, the vehicles and the drinking. You can drive the Hayosiko van across the Whiterun tundra, take the Kekmet tractor up the Throat of the World and get into fights with the Thalmor. A new game swaps the Helgen opening for a hangover in the cart. v0.1.1 (Oct 22) is playable start to finish but young, so expect bugs. A one-click launcher finds both games, checks the required loaders and starts everything.
You need: Your own copy of The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Special or Anniversary Edition (latest Steam version or 1.5.97) with SKSE64 and Address Library, plus your own copy of My Summer Car (Steam) with MSCLoader. Windows 10/11 and a PC that can run both games at once. Note: new developer account (created Oct 3).
How to play
- Download PerkeleRim-0.1.1.zip from GitHub Releases and extract it outside your game folders.
- Double-click Start PerkeleRim.bat; first-time setup finds both games and checks SKSE, Address Library and MSCLoader.
- Play in Skyrim; My Summer Car minimises itself and runs in the background.
