PS VITA'S KILLZONE AND UNCHARTED GO NATIVE ON PC, MAC AND LINUX WITH PROJECT NATIV
Project Nativ turns PS Vita games like Killzone: Mercenary into native PC programs

TheLostPantheon's Project Nativ recompiles PS Vita games into native programs for Windows, macOS and Linux. A static recompiler translates a game's ARMv7 code (Thumb-2, VFP and NEON included) into C ahead of time, and Sony's own libraries such as libgxm are recompiled from your own firmware file, with a runtime standing in for the Vita's kernel and hardware. The public beta (v0.1.4, 30 Oct) supports exact US releases of Killzone: Mercenary (including Botzone and online play on 1.12), Uncharted: Golden Abyss, Unit 13 and Shovel Knight, with extras like higher resolutions, wider screens, 60fps and mouse aiming depending on the game. Nothing of any game or firmware ships: the tools decrypt and recompile your own copies on your machine.
You need: Your own copy of a supported US PS Vita game (Killzone: Mercenary, Uncharted: Golden Abyss, Unit 13 or Shovel Knight, exact versions listed in the README) and Sony's PS Vita firmware update file. Windows, macOS or Linux. Beta software.
How to play Killzone: Mercenary on PC
- Download the Windows zip, macOS dmg or Linux AppImage from the releases page.
- Give it your own game and Sony's firmware update file; it recompiles them on your machine.
