SkyDoom: DOOM weapons and HUD inside Skyrim
Caffs' SkyDoom connects a modified Chocolate Doom to Skyrim through SKSE, inspired by SkyCraft. You get seven DOOM weapon slots from the start, DOOM damage applied to Skyrim enemies, ragdolling rocket hits, DOOM's HUD and first-person weapons, and DOOM-style resource drops from the enemies you fight. It finds your own DOOM.WAD in your Steam libraries, so no game data is copied or shipped. v0.1.0-beta is tested on Skyrim 1.7.104 with SKSE 2.3.1 on Windows 10 and 11.
You need: Your own copies of Skyrim Special Edition or Anniversary Edition (Steam runtime 1.7.104) and DOOM + DOOM II on Steam, plus SKSE 2.3.1 and Address Library. No game files are included.
How to play
- Install SKSE 2.3.1 and Address Library for your Skyrim.
- Install SkyDoom-v0.1.0-beta.zip with Vortex or Mod Organizer 2.
- Keep DOOM + DOOM II installed through Steam and launch Skyrim through SKSE.
