It's a from-scratch, byte-matching rebuild of the game in C and C++, and the repo holds no ROM or Nintendo assets. Built from it is a native PC port, labelled a demo, at v0.9.3.5 (Oct 31). That update adds a Career page with playtime and clear times, mouse buttons for game actions, a camera collision setting, a Skip opening option, sharper dual-screen minigames, and seam fixes for the Smooth Models feature. The port is Windows only; Linux runs it through Proton or Wine with helper files from the same page. Older DS work on the wire includes ethanseagull's SM64DS Enhanced for 3DS. When the port crashes it can send a small crash report, the developer says.
