SONIC ADVENTURE GOES NATIVE ON PC AND STEAM DECK: DREAMCAST RECOMP UPDATED
Sonic Adventure (Dreamcast) Recompiled: native PC port for Windows, Linux and Steam Deck, v0.52.1

Sonic Adventure Recompiled is an unofficial native PC port of the Dreamcast version of Sonic Adventure (not the later DX release), powered by the KatanaRecomp Dreamcast recompiler. It runs on Windows, Linux and Steam Deck. The creator calls it fully playable but still a work in progress, and says AI tools helped with the code and the documentation. v0.52.1 (Oct 18) is a Linux and Steam Deck hotfix for a crash when Sonic's opening cutscene leads into the Chaos 0 fight. The creator warns that updates may be slower for a while.
You need: Your own copy of Sonic Adventure for Dreamcast, dumped from your own disc. The installer asks for it. No game files are included.
