Sonic Character: Rebooted: play Super Mario 64 as Sonic and Amy, with their own movesets
steven3004's Sonic Character: Rebooted adds Sonic and Amy Rose as playable characters in sm64coopdx, the online co-op PC port of Super Mario 64. It is not a reskin: Sonic keeps his momentum, turns in mid-air, and brings a spin dash, drop dash and the Sonic Eagle kick from Sonic Battle, and he can't swim. It works as a Character Select pack or on its own (type /sonic in chat). It has passed 22,000 downloads on GameBanana. It is the mirror image of Skyth's SM64 Generations, which puts Mario into Sonic Generations.
You need: Your own copy of Super Mario 64 (a US ROM from your own cartridge) to build sm64coopdx. No Mario 64 assets are included.
How to play
- Set up sm64coopdx with your own Super Mario 64 ROM.
- Download the mod from steven3004's GameBanana page and drop it into the mods folder.
- Enable it in the mod list, then pick Sonic in Character Select or type /sonic.
