SMASH GOES NATIVE: SUPER SMASH BROS. ULTIMATE STATIC RECOMP LANDS ON GITHUB
Super Smash Bros. Ultimate static recomp to native Windows

Denkishi's ssbu-recomp translates Super Smash Bros. Ultimate (v13.0.4) from Switch AArch64 code to C ahead of time and compiles it as a native Windows x64 program. It has its own runtime and a Vulkan renderer with an OpenGL fallback, and no CPU interpreter or JIT. It also comes with tools that turn fighter scripts back into editable C++. The README says boot, menus and a full 1v1 match against a CPU work. Classic Mode, Training and Home-Run Contest start, and World of Light only reaches its intro. Online is not available. It's early, with no releases yet.
You need: Your own legally obtained dump of the game at v13.0.4. The repo has no game code, assets, keys or firmware. You'll need Windows build tools.
How to play
- Read the README and its status table on GitHub.
- Build the runtime and point it at your own 13.0.4 dump.
- Expect gaps: many modes are untested and there's no online.
