Terramon: the fan-made Pokémon mod for Terraria
Terramon is a long-running free fan mod that brings Pokémon into Terraria. The README lists over 145 Pokémon to find and catch, Shiny forms included, five Poké Balls with their own mechanics, a new Town NPC called the Poké Mart Clerk, and custom menus and vanity items. Turn-based battles, real-time Pokémon combat and breeding are planned, not in yet. The Steam Workshop page shows more than 93,000 subscribers, and the latest version, 0.1.3.2 on 2 November 2025, fixed a bug that stopped it loading on tModLoader. The team was still pushing code on GitHub in October 2026. It is Terraria's answer to Cobblemon and Pixelmon, the Pokémon mods for Minecraft already on the wire. Added as a backfill: no new playable mashup turned up this run.
You need: Your own copy of Terraria on Steam, plus tModLoader (free on Steam for Terraria owners). The mod needs no Pokémon game.
How to play
- Install tModLoader from Steam.
- Subscribe to Terramon Mod (Beta) on its Steam Workshop page.
- Enable it in tModLoader's Mods menu and start a world.
