World of Skatecraft: Skate 3 skateboarding in World of Warcraft 1.12.1
Kimmo3223's World of Skatecraft lets you summon a skateboard like a mount and skate anywhere in Azeroth with Skate 3's own physics: flick-it tricks, grinds, powerslides and bails, in your own gear. Skateboarding is a profession too, so landing tricks levels it and unlocks abilities like Rocket Boost and Moon Jump. It's built on benilla, the from-scratch Rust WoW 1.12.1 client on our list, plus the Skate 3 Rust Engine, and runs fully offline against a local server. The creator calls it vibe coded with Claude Code, just for laughs, and says to expect rough edges. Linux is the main route; the Windows setup is new and untested.
You need: Your own copy of Skate 3 for Xbox 360 (extracted) and your own World of Warcraft 1.12.1 English client, plus an Xbox-style controller, Docker and about 20 GB free. No game files are included.
How to play
- Clone the repo from GitHub.
- Run setup/setup.sh on Linux or setup.bat on Windows and point it at both games.
- Start play.sh or play.bat and log in with the account setup made.
