MASHUP: THE ORIGINAL HADES PLAYS INSIDE HADES II AS MELINOË IN ZAGREUS' JOURNEY
Zagreus' Journey: the Hades x Hades II crossover mod puts the first game's escape inside the sequel
NikkelM's Zagreus' Journey is a Hades x Hades II crossover mod that adds the first game's whole escape to the sequel. A Chaos Gate appears in the Crossroads' Training Grounds, and through it you fight through Tartarus, Asphodel, Elysium and the Temple of Styx as Melinoë, using her weapons and abilities against the original enemies and bosses. Sisyphus, Eurydice and Patroclus offer new boons, Megaera and Thanatos return, and the mod adds 30+ resources and 28 tracks from the first game's soundtrack. It can start on a fresh save or after the epilogue. The README recommends finishing the first game's story first, as not all story events are included. It quotes Supergiant saying they were blown away by the mod. v1.3.0 landed on 15 September 2026.
