BattleTanx: Global Assault native PC port from a completed N64 decomp
TheGh0stShip's port is built from a completed, byte-matching N64 decompilation, using N64Recomp for the CPU program, RSPRecomp for audio microcode, N64ModernRuntime and RT64 for rendering (Direct3D 12 on Windows, Vulkan on Linux). It supports keyboard and SDL controllers and has been played from the menus into the campaign. v0.2.5 landed Oct 13.
You need: Your own BattleTanx: Global Assault N64 ROM. A D3D12 or Vulkan GPU. No game data is included.
How to play BattleTanx: Global Assault on PC
- Download v0.2.5 from Releases.
- Provide your own ROM when prompted.
- Launch and play.
