ZELDA: BREATH OF THE WILD RUNS NATIVELY ON IPHONE IN A NEW WII U RECOMP
Breath of the Wild (Wii U) statically recompiled to run natively on iPhone and Mac

IshaanKalra2103's BotW Recompiled statically recompiles Breath of the Wild's Wii U PowerPC code (U-King.rpx) to C++. It runs on a Cafe OS runtime written for the port, and Cemu's Latte GPU layer draws through Metal. There's no emulator and no JIT, so it runs as an ordinary signed iOS app. On one iPhone 16 Pro it ran at mostly 35 to 60 FPS in the open world, but it hung after about 4 minutes. On an M1 Pro Mac it runs 24 to 35 FPS in the open world. There's no download-and-play app, and there never will be: you build it from your own copy on your own Mac.
You need: Your own Wii U copy of Breath of the Wild and an Apple silicon Mac to build on (also needed for the iPhone build). No game files or game code are included. It's experimental and only tested on one iPhone.
