DEAD OR ALIVE 3 GOES NATIVE ON PC: XBOX RECOMP ADDS ONLINE MATCHES AND 1440P
Dead or Alive 3 recompiled for Windows: every mode playable, new online mode added

parkerallan's Dead or Alive 3 recomp translates the original Xbox binary of Team Ninja's 2001 launch fighter into native C that compiles and runs as a Windows x86-64 program. The creator says all game modes are fully playable, and v1.0.6 (Oct 19) adds a new online mode for single and tag matches, windowed/borderless play, 4:3 or 16:9, and internal resolution up to 1440p, capped at 60 fps. On first launch you select your own Dead or Alive 3 (USA) disc image and the assets are extracted automatically. It's part of the same original-Xbox recomp wave as Ninja Gaiden Black and Black on our wire.
You need: Your own Dead or Alive 3 (USA) Xbox disc image in .xiso format. Game files are not included.
