CHAINSAW ON PC: GEARS OF WAR 2 RECOMPILED NATIVE, WITH 4K, FSR 4 AND LAN CO-OP
Gears of War 2 retail gets an unofficial native PC port

Santiago Quiroz has released an unofficial native PC port of the retail Xbox 360 Gears of War 2. It is statically recompiled from the player's own default.xex to x64 code with the ReXGlue SDK, so it isn't an emulator. Act 1 is playable with mouse and keyboard or a controller. v0.1.1 (15 October) adds FSR 4 and FSR 3.1 upscaling, native mouse aim, internal rendering up to 4K, texture packs, and System Link campaign co-op for up to four players, including PC and Android cross-play on one LAN. The README notes that an earlier fan port, Hollow, was built from a leaked 2008 development build. This project runs the full retail game, though a full campaign playthrough isn't confirmed yet.
You need: Your own retail Xbox 360 copy of Gears of War 2 (its default.xex and game files). No game data is included. Only Act 1 is confirmed playable so far.
