NO JOHNS: MELEE GOES NATIVE ON PC WITH SLIPPI ROLLBACK AND UNCAPPED FRAMES
Melee Unlocked 0.8.98: native Windows Super Smash Bros. Melee with Slippi online and an unlocked frame rate

Hero88go's Melee Unlocked is a native Windows build of Super Smash Bros. Melee (NTSC 1.02) with two engines. The main Source Port compiles the game from the Melee decompilation's C code, with no GameCube code emulated; a Static Recomp mode translates the retail PowerPC code (with Slippi's Gecko codes) to C++ for mods that need the original code. Game logic runs at 60 Hz while the display runs at any rate, with in-between frames drawn from the game's own animation and physics data. Slippi rollback netplay is reimplemented natively and plays against Slippi Dolphin. Version 0.8.98 shipped Oct 15, and 20XX TE, Training Mode CE and Akaneia mods are supported. Not affiliated with the Slippi team.
You need: Your own Super Smash Bros. Melee NTSC 1.02 ISO. Windows with D3D12 or D3D11. Nothing from the game is included.
