GALAXY BRAIN: SUPER MARIO GALAXY GOES NATIVE ON PC AS NEBULA HITS VERSION 1.0
Nebula 1.0: Super Mario Galaxy runs native on Windows via static recompilation

keepvaibin's Nebula runs Super Mario Galaxy natively on Windows. It translates the Wii game's PowerPC machine code into C++ ahead of time, compiles that on your PC from your own copy of the game, and runs it on a native runtime with a Direct3D 12 renderer and Windows audio and input. Version 1.0.0 landed on Oct 13 after a week of betas. The developer says the game is playable from the start, though some areas dip below 60 fps on weaker hardware, some lighting and bloom effects differ and bugs remain. The project is disclosed as built with AI coding tools. It follows the Petari decompilation of Galaxy and rival mobile efforts like Galaxy Android.
You need: Your own copy of Super Mario Galaxy (Wii), dumped. Windows with a Direct3D 12 GPU. No Nintendo code or assets are included.
