itsinspector's NSMBWii-3DS-Recomp is a static recompilation of New Super Mario Bros. Wii: the game's PowerPC code is translated to C ahead of time and compiled for Windows and for the New 3DS's ARM11, with no emulator. Per the README the Windows build is playable at 60 fps (menus, world map, levels, graphics, audio, saves), while the New 3DS build runs but slowly: about 6-14 fps in menus and light scenes and 1-3 fps in heavy ones, measured in the Azahar emulator. Old 3DS and 2DS don't have enough memory. You build it yourself in four steps from your own disc. The repo appeared Oct 29 and is marked experimental.
