PORTAL 2 RUNS NATIVELY ON IPHONE AND MAC, RECOMPILED WITH NO EMULATOR
Portal 2 statically recompiled to native ARM64: playable on Mac and iPhone, portals fired by tapping the phone

kanapitsas has translated the x86 machine code of Portal 2's Linux release into C and compiled it into a native ARM64 game for macOS and iOS: no emulator, Wine, Rosetta or interpreter. All 31 of the game's Linux modules (about 125,000 functions and 15 million instructions) become C functions, with a small runtime standing in for glibc, pthreads, SDL2, OpenGL, OpenAL and Steam. The creator reports it fully playable on an M3 Pro Mac at 235 to 280 FPS, and on an iPhone 15 Pro Max at a locked 60 FPS with touch controls, where you fire portals by tapping the left or right side of the back of the phone. Everything is generated on your own machine from your own copy; the repo holds no Valve code or game files, and the creator asks that nobody share built apps. Source only for now (repo created Oct 27, no ready-made release); building needs a Mac.
You need: Your own copy of Portal 2 (Steam, Linux depot). A Mac with Apple silicon to build; iPhone install needs your own Apple developer signing. No ready-made build: source and build steps only. No game files are included.
