R.E.L.I.V.E. by the Alive Team is a fan-made, open-source engine replacement for Oddworld Inhabitants' first two games, Abe's Oddysee and Abe's Exoddus. It aims to be fully compatible with the originals while fixing their bugs, and eventually to add modding and level creation. It adds quicksave and quickload in Exoddus, a screen filter, aspect-ratio and fullscreen toggles. Stable v1.1.0 landed on 26 October, the first stable release since v1.0.9 in March 2025.
