ZEBES GOES NATIVE: SUPER METROID RECOMPILED TO C, NOW WITH SAVE AND PROGRESSION FIXES
Super Metroid Recomp v0.3.11: the SNES classic statically recompiled to native C

mstan's SuperMetroidSNESRecomp is an LLE-first recompilation of Super Metroid into native C using the snesrecomp framework, part of the R.A.I.D. community. Windows builds default to a cached HLE frame compositor for speed, with the accuracy-first LLE path still buildable for checks. v0.3.11 (Oct 16) brings progression and save fixes, a day after v0.3.10 fixed an attract-demo freeze. Same porter as the Mega Man X SNES recomp already on the wire.
You need: A Super Metroid ROM dumped from your own SNES cartridge. No game data included.
How to play Super Metroid on PC
- Download v0.3.11 from the GitHub Releases page.
- Supply your own Super Metroid ROM when asked.
- Report bugs on the repo; saves and progression were just fixed.
