ZELDA: BREATH OF THE WILD RECOMPILED INTO A NATIVE WINDOWS PROGRAM, NO EMULATOR
BotW Recompiled for Windows: Breath of the Wild's Wii U code statically recompiled to a native program

A new project statically recompiles the Wii U version of Breath of the Wild (v1.5.0) into a native Windows 10/11 program with a Vulkan backend. The PowerPC game code becomes C++ running on a Cafe OS runtime, and Cemu's Latte GPU layer handles drawing, with no emulator and no JIT. The developer reports about 60 fps on an RTX 5060 laptop through the opening, title screen, loading a save, combat, the map and fast travel, and Hateno Village. It is a work in progress and not a full-game release: there are no builds yet, so for now you have to compile it yourself. It is a separate project from the iPhone BotW recomp we covered. No game files, keys or decryption tools are included.
You need: Your own Breath of the Wild for Wii U (USA, v1.5.0), as an already-extracted game folder. Building from source needs MSYS2 (UCRT64) and a Vulkan 1.1 GPU. No game files are included.
