TAKEDOWN GOES NATIVE: BURNOUT 3 HITS PC AT 60FPS, 4X RES AND WIDESCREEN
Burnout 3: Takedown native PC port (PS2 decomp toolchain)

Criterion's PS2 crash-racer translated to C++ and compiled for Windows, not emulated: 60fps, up to 4x the PS2's resolution, widescreen with the HUD kept in place, a Vulkan renderer and PC settings in the game's own menu. Alpha v0.4.0 dropped today, from the same dev behind the Wave Race 64 and Pilotwings 64 recomps.
You need: Your own Burnout 3: Takedown disc image (NTSC-U, SLUS-21050), Windows 10/11 64-bit, an AVX2 CPU and a Vulkan 1.3 driver. No game content is in the repo or the release.
