FORZA 2 HITS THE PC: XBOX 360 CLASSIC RECOMPILED NATIVE, 60 FPS RACES AND 120 HZ OUT
Forza Motorsport 2 recompiled natively for Windows

0herculabs has released a static recompilation of Forza Motorsport 2 (Xbox 360, 2007) for Windows. The PowerPC code is recompiled ahead of time to C++ and then built for x86-64, with no CPU emulation and no JIT. It renders through Direct3D 12. v0.3.0 (14 October) is playable but a work in progress: menus and videos work, exhibition races and Free Run can hold 60 FPS, and 120 Hz race output is available on fast hardware. Career mode, split-screen and DLC still need more testing, and Xbox Live isn't available. It follows the Forza Horizon recomp already on the wire.
You need: Your own original European or American Xbox 360 copy of Forza Motorsport 2 as a disc image. No game files are included. Windows x64 with a Direct3D 12 GPU.
