SUPER MARIO GALAXY RUNS NATIVE ON IPHONE AND IPAD, AT ABOUT 60 FPS

GalaxyPad 0.2.2: Super Mario Galaxy runs natively on iPhone and iPad

GalaxyPad 0.2.2: Super Mario Galaxy runs natively on iPhone and iPad

Chris Sotraidis's GalaxyPad 0.2.2 runs Super Mario Galaxy natively on iPhone and iPad. Its new engine is a maintained port of MacioGalaxy, built on the Petari decompilation, so the game code is compiled straight for Apple silicon with Metal rendering, touch controls and controller support. The developer reports about 60 FPS on an iPhone 14. There is no prebuilt IPA: you build your own copy with the PadMint tool on an Apple silicon Mac, then import your own game image in the app. The release is marked experimental and a full playthrough hasn't been verified. The repo discloses heavy AI assistance. The same developer made KartPad for Mario Kart Wii, and Galaxy already has native Windows (Nebula) and Android builds.
