MASTER CHIEF IN YOUR HANDS: HALOPAD PUTS HALO CE ON IPHONE, IPAD AND MAC
HaloPad: Halo: Combat Evolved on iPhone, iPad and Mac, with online matches of up to 128 players

chrissotraidis's HaloPad (repo projectreach) plays Halo: Combat Evolved on iPhone, iPad and Apple silicon Macs: the original Xbox campaign, online matches of up to 128 players and the PC community's Custom Edition servers, with touch, controller or keyboard and mouse. HaloPad doesn't include Halo and has no app to download: you bring your own Xbox disc image and build the app yourself for free. The developer calls it a preview, playable on real hardware, with frame pacing and some Xbox graphics still being tuned, and discloses substantial AI assistance. v0.3.9 shipped Oct 10. The same developer made KartPad, and it joins Halo 64 and the halo-re decomp on the wire.
You need: Your own Halo: Combat Evolved Xbox disc image, a Mac with Xcode to build, and iOS/iPadOS 17.4+ or macOS 14.4+ on Apple silicon. No game data is included.
