CONTRA CODE, NATIVE: HARD CORPS UPRISING RECOMPILED FOR PC AND STEAM DECK
Hard Corps: Uprising v0.5.3: the Xbox 360 Contra spin-off recompiled natively for PC

saulob's Hard Corps: Uprising port statically recompiles the 2011 XBLA Contra spin-off to native PC code with the ReXGlue SDK, wrapped in the creator's TRG launcher with modern PC options. It runs on Windows, with Linux and Steam Deck experimental. A run of releases on Oct 15 (v0.5.1 to v0.5.3) cut CPU busy-waiting and fixed Linux startup and AppImage issues. It comes from the same porter behind the Geometry Wars: Retro Evolved 2 and Dragon's Crown Pro ports already on the wire.
You need: Your own Hard Corps: Uprising Xbox Live Arcade package. No game files included.
How to play Hard Corps: Uprising on PC
- Download v0.5.3 from the GitHub Releases page.
- Point the TRG launcher at your own XBLA package.
