SUPER MARIO BROS. WONDER IS BEING RECOMPILED TO RUN NATIVE, NO SWITCH EMULATOR
Super Mario Bros. Wonder Recomp: a Switch game being statically recompiled to native code

Belmante (Projeto Belmante) is statically recompiling Super Mario Bros. Wonder (Switch, v1.0.0) into native code. The game's ARM64 machine code becomes C++ compiled for the host, and Nintendo's own NVN graphics API is reimplemented on Vulkan (MoltenVK on Mac). The public progress log says the game runs its frame loop natively on an Apple M1 Mac, all 12,717 shader blocks translate to SPIR-V, and draws are working up to the title screen. It is part of the creator's wider SwitchGamesRecomp runtime, and the README says plainly it was built with heavy AI assistance (Claude) under human direction. There are no releases yet: this is a work-in-progress code drop, not a playable build. The repo holds no game code, assets, keys or firmware.
You need: Nothing to play yet. When it is, you will need your own legally dumped Super Mario Bros. Wonder v1.0.0 plus your own keys and firmware. No game files are included.
