Mario Kart 64 3DS is a native Nintendo 3DS port of the N64 classic, built on Harbour Masters' SpaghettiKart PC port of the Mario Kart 64 decompilation. Version 2.0 arrived on 23 October, with a 2.1 build the next day. It has single-player Grand Prix, Time Trial, VS and Battle against CPU racers, top-screen racing with five HUD layouts and course maps, touch menus on the bottom screen, and settings for render scale, draw distance and filters. It also has built-in Stable and Experimental updates that keep your saves. The developer says it was built with help from OpenAI Codex and Claude Code. It comes from EstebanPdN, who also made the Minish Cap 3DS port we covered. No ROM is included.
